Chapter Four - Silent suprise Part One.

The best week of my life. If i had lived a happier life as a child then it could have been a close thing. Ive seen those families on outings. Laughing, smiling, joking.

I was finally introduced to Teths parents, who were slightly disapproving of all the lying he had done, but were very pleased to meet the girl their 'baby' had fell head over heels for. They were also very in love themselves, and hadnt argued for fifteen years, so there was ANOTHER lie Teth and told, but I adore him so much I dont even care.
''Hey Hun!!'' He had called to me one day as he got home from his job.
''I got a promotion!!! More money!!! Maybe we can replace your screen??''

Its not that bad?? Not exactly something people would be rushing to buy in a sale, but it works fine....

I closed my eyes and imagined myself into a designer penthouse suite in bridgeport, flatscreens, coffee machines and all that jazz for miles around.

Teth came and sat down next to me,
''So, how are we doing, apart from being broke, tired, cold, and dressing like dressing like an old lady?'' He asked with a smirk. It was true that our money was gone, thanks to the gigantic heating bill we had just recived. Then, our central heating sytem had broken down in the middle of the night, meaning that me and Teth lay in bed shivering awake, waiting for each other to speak up about the cold. And sure, I had taken to wearing jackets and scarves around the house, not to mention the extra thermal socks and vests I put on every morning, making my bust look even bigger than it was on a good day.
''Fine,'' I said, smiling, ''You?'' Okay, so 'Fine' didnt exactly sum up the excruciating feeling of nausea I had been experiencing ever since Teth had moved in. Im sure they werent connected, were they?
''Yeah, well Mrs Rackett is hinting about promotions and all, so I might be earning a bit more soon.''

''Are you up to something Freak?'' He asked me, with his eyebrows dipping,
''Im hoping not to be the only freak in this town anymore.'' I answered smiling calmly at him.
''Is that a hint?'' He grinned back at me.

''Ma-'' But I was cut of by Teth kissing me.

The kiss didnt last long though, becasue My phone loudly interupted it.
''Hello, Maisy Freak here.'' I said formaly, ignorning Teth's mocking, giving him a death stare, them rushing into the bathroom and locking the door.
''Oh yes, Ms Freak-''
''MISS Freak'' I corrected, loudly so that Teth could hear.
''Oh, sorry Miss, I am calling to inform you that you have recived a promotion. Your uniform is being delivered currently, is there any information you wish to inform Mrs Rackett? She needs to know If you are to accept the promotion?'' I pondered, momenteraly.
''Yeah, I accept it, thanks Sir. Bye, tell Mrs Rackett Thankyou.''

Yes. You may think that that is GREAT that I got the promation, but I was getting a bad feeling about it, and just like all my OTHER bad feelings, im sure it meant something.
I started having doubts when the uniform arrived.

Breakfast was hell. My prediction have come true. Mrs Rackett HATES me.
It had to be then that I really started feeling sick.

I had just arrived at work when I experienced a whole new roll of nausea, unlike any other.
And I knew that it wasnt my uniform that was causing this.

Because I felt clammy too, and if I wasnt mistaken, Teth had fed us some out of date jam for lunch yesterday. GREAT! A tummy bug, on my first day as a proper journalist! Crap.
Mrs Rackett sent me home straight away, not out of kindness, but because she would have preffered one inferior ill then all of them.

Once I had changed out of my uniform, I felt that I needed to be more confortable, so picked out a tight jumpsuit that Rose used to wear out in secret.

Hmm.. Not for me.
Of course, Teth HAD to come in right then.

He game me a right stare over.
''Maisy, you look....'' I gave him a look.
''Pale..' He suggested patheticaly.
''Yeah, I think ill go to bed.'' I sighed,
''Well, I was going to go to the gym, but I really think you need keeping company today.''
''I Love you Teth Mathton'' I smiled
''I love you more!'' He smiled back,
''No you dont!''
''Do too!!''
''Do not!!'' And this went on until I finally fell asleep.
